Tricktip: Varialflip
Another tricktip will tell you how to learn varialflips. This trick looks very well in videos and especially in manual combos and other trick variations. And it is very easy to learn it because varial is one from basic tricks which must everyone know. We have Jakub Hofhanzl in the video as a preview rider and he will show you how whole trick looks like and how to land it perfectly and clean. Also in combination with manual. You can read a tutorial below. We hope you will learn this trick pretty fast and enjoy its every landing.
This trick is created by connection of two tricks. Kickflip and pop shoveit. If you don’t know these two tricks, let’s learn them first because you need them to land varialflip. You need to rotate you deck one time around longest axis like a kickflip and one time around shortest axis like shoveit. Deck will definitely rotate more than you need, especially to 360 flip, at the beginning of learning but it is normal and you need to stay calm and keep trying. So, how to kick it? At first point let’s land some pop shoveits to remind how to give a right rotation to your deck. After that add kickflip rotation. Your forefinger need to kick nose but a little bit from usual direction – must rotate with shoveit rotation and then pull the nose like on kickflip. Your hand need to rotate a bit in clockwise with shoveit and deck. When the tail hit the ground you need to kick shoveit with you middle finger and then also kick a kickflip. When you do this right you will be able to land varialflips like a boss. The best landing is usually in the air, so try it. What are you waiting for? Let’s go fingerboarding!
