Fingerboard Playground Opening – report
On Saturday, 10/08 we met in relatively large number of riders at the openings of interesting spot situated in Brno, specifically in the center of free time. From the beginning it looked like quite with bad weather because of Brno clouds floated stained quite dark shades of gray. Sometimes the sun shone, but occasionally rains. What was the main problem? Cold. Racing concrete park was covered by a tent under which everyone happily snuggling. Of course the place was still supported by +Blackriver-Ramps+ g8 park has already been placed out of reach of unfavorable weather with g8 plaza together. Right from morning every rider waiting for the opening of registration. When everything is put into clusters so we ordered everyone to go quickly to registrations. Overall, the registration paper appeared 24 riders. Around 13:00, we started the main event. The whole race was under the tent. In the firt round we can see a lot of fine tricks combinated with crazy marble park. The first ten then advance to the semifinals. The first round was made quite a few interesting tricks, most riders used the stairs and low rail. Everyone but at least once passed through the park. In the first round of the most distinguished himself Brunovsky John, who now dictated much of the region in high style. Other seasoned riders like Kuba Hiko, Jan Uhlir, John Karsch, or perhaps Vojta Freitag but the fingers were always poised repartee tricks on their opponents. The first round proceeded just ten drivers (order below).
In the semifinals, every minute and a half on it to correct their mistakes from the first round or to be invented an entirely new trick combinations. This opportunity is best seized Vojta Freitag, who was returning everything with style and almost from the first try. Right behind him, John Karsch planted tricks like a boss. Nollie flip 5-0, nollie 360 flip, ss 360 flip, and other combinations were equally tricky in this round quite often seen. Every rider have their own style. Perhaps John Uhlir can go in high style with his pop shoveits, all of which caught on. Is there also oldschool style aka Jakub Hiko In the pool. After that we have to count points and see who is comming to the finals: Freitag, Karsch, Brunovsky, Kesson and Uhlir.
It was clear that this game of skate will be longer. But no one expected that John Karsch gets going through my private line which all riders gain least two letters. Kickflip nosegrind, ss 360 flip down the stairs, kickflip to manual and other. Then the card is turned to the word and get others who have bet more on easyer tricks and waited until others can not. It paid off and took fifth place Vojta, where it is clearly signed quite adverse conditions, and especially cold. After a few tricks Kesson is finished. So we ahve only John, and Jan Uhlir and Radim. Began to fall and most technical tricks like pop shoveits. Those are just caught John Karsch, who’d rather flipping tricks takiing third place. Jan Uhlir then sent his nollie 360 flip of the bc ckooked on rounded marble and was done. The first ten took home prizes from sponsors and we all parted happily home. Otherwise, below you can see the overall ranking of all riders.
At the end of the report, of course, thanks to sponsors include: Horsefeathers, Swat Distribution a Fingerboarding.cz, Propaganda, SNS, +Blackriver-Ramps+. Hopefully in Brno in the time we meet again.
